Why we built Gigways.
Most gig drivers work across several apps at once. Each one shows what it paid you, but none of them shows what the driving actually cost, and none of them talks to the others. The result is that a lot of drivers finish the week without a clear idea of what they earned.
Mileage is the clearest example. For most gig drivers it is the largest deduction they can claim at tax time, but only if the miles were recorded. Miles you forgot to log are money you cannot claim back. Plenty of apps will track them for you, and then cap your trips or charge a monthly fee for the privilege.
We thought that part should simply be free. Gigways records your miles in the background, with no trip limit and no tracking fee, and puts your costs and earnings next to them so the full picture is in one place. The rest of the app is built around the same idea: give drivers the information they need to make their own decisions.

We do not sell your driving or earnings data, and we do not share it with the gig platforms you work for. It is encrypted in transit and at rest.
